Meet outside Amersham station at 8.05am to get the 8.16am Metropolitan train to Baker Street where we will meet up with Breeze Harrow. The ride begins at Baker Street and we will start cycling along the quiet streets of Marylebone then via Park Lane to Hyde Park Corner, Buckingham Palace and Parliament Square on protected cycle lanes. We will take Cycleway 3 along the Embankment to see the sights, up to Tower Hill from which we follow the docks and canals to Shadwell Basin, then turn north to the farm. We will have about 45 minutes at the farm for refreshments and to look around; visiting the farm is free. Then it's back through Mile End and Whitechapel on Cycleway 2 to Aldgate Station when we can take the tube back to Amersham. It's a ride of contrasts: the sights of Westminster, smart new flats in Docklands, parts of the East End which have yet to benefit from regeneration and a farm full of animals and plants. Lots of opportunities for photos, come and join us on this adventure into London. Please note that due to some cobbled streets, this ride is not suitable for road bikes.
