This route is graded as a Steady+ due to the distance and an approx elevation of 600ft so is not suitable for novice riders. We’ll be following the local orange marked cycle route and after meeting in Wigtown, we’ll head out towards the WW2 Mulberry Harbour village of Garlieston, then ride through the quiet villages of Sorbie and Whauphill. We then leave the main (but quiet) roads and enjoy the single track back roads for a while before re-joining the main road to return to Wigtown. We’ll ride at a social pace stopping lots of times to have a chat, get to know each other and admire the lovely scenery along the way, particularly at Sorbie and Galloway’s own mini Stonehenge at Torhousemuir. Helmets are mandatory on all Breeze rides and please bring a tool kit, spare inner tube and puncture repair kit if possible. A mask and bank card/cash will also be needed for lunch or treat/cake at the end of the ride in Wigtown

First timers are very welcome. We ride in a group at a social pace and no-one is left behind
