Here we have a route that our cyclist Pete has planned for us, I've had to adapt it as the original went from Alvaston park and it was over the 50 miles that I'm allowed to lead at the moment. This is a nice mixture of trails and road riding so it will be very enjoyable. The meeting point will be at Chellaston Brickworks car park, this is a pay and display car park with a barrier of 2.2 m if you are driving in.

After we have got ourselves together we will head out of Chellaston over to Sinfin, Arleston, Willington, Marston on Dove, Anslow, Tatenhill, Walton on Trent, Rosliston where will have a lovely break at the tea rooms, Get your fill of coffee and cake or maybe a bacon butty and a chat.
From here we will ride over to Moira, Blackfordby, there is a hill here, Ticknall, Swarestone and back to Chellaston to the start.

This is probably the longest ride I've put on yet and maybe more elevation than normal but we will stop where we need to for a break, please make sure you have everything you need, plenty of fluids, snacks, jelly babies are a must, if you don't bring any always know that I will have some to share in my pocket.
Let's hope that the weather is as good as it has been, make yourselves lovely and bright for cars to see you , I always have lights as well. You can never be bright enough!! Pace is always to suit everyone so don't worry about keeping up.
See you then!!
