Derby Wheerler"s

We're a group of cyclists based in Derby who love getting together to ride our bikes locally, to generally keep fit and have fun. We have different starting points in and around Derby, route depending. Most of our rides are intended for roads bikes but we try and keep away from busy built up areas. We aim to ride between 15 and 40 miles. at a pace somewhere between 13 - 15 mph and there will always be a cafe stop somewhere on the route - cafe = smiles = fun!! We are not competitive cyclists and everyone is welcome to give us a try, if you are new to cycling and are worried about your fitness, don't be, we will always slow down or wait in appropriate safe places. No one ever gets left behind. Our rides generally take place in the week, on a morning but as the weather improves there may be more rides at the weekends. If your free and want to keep fit but have fun why not give us a whirl!!
