For Autumn, a few sociable Friday Breeze rides whereby each week the distance will gradually increase along with riders’ confidence and, most importantly, incorporating different cafe stops! Aimed at ladies who either fancy taking up cycling or who maybe are looking to return to cycling.
The ride this week will leave the FBC centre to cycle over from Finchampstead to the Wellington Farm Shop using the Greenway over to Arborfield and then on road (mainly country lanes) through Farley Hill, Swallowfield and Riseley. This time we are adding in a few more hills, yippee - but where there’s an up, there’s also a down! Plus hills will warm us up and we can enjoy some lovely countryside :)
At the Farm Shop, we’ll be able to enjoy some refreshment before cycling back along a similar route so as not to exclude any bikes.
You should please bring with you a road worthy bike (together with a spare inner tube), a drink for the ride and some money plus bike lock for the cafe stop. Please do wear a helmet and layers of comfy clothing, and a waterproof given recent forecasts! However, be assured that the ride will not go ahead in pouring rain or strong winds.
If you have any queries about this ride, please don’t hesitate to contact us using the conversation button below. We look forward to seeing you on Friday, Jill and Carole
