This is a 20 mile ride which will take us via back roads to Richmond Park and then round the Tamsin Trail before returning the way we came (via Roehampton and the Telegraph Inn)

We will stop in the park for coffee at one of the cafes but aim to be back in time for lunch, although please bring or buy snacks at the coffee stop to keep you going! We should be back by 12.30/12.45.

This ride is fine for hybrid, cross and mountain bikes. The Tamsin Trail is well maintained but is NOT tarmac, so if you have a road bike, it’s doable, but you will need cross or winter tyres with good grip.

There are a few hills along the way - but nothing that you can’t push your bike up briefly if necessary. We will be going at a relaxed pace, and enjoying the scenery in the park!

Make sure you bring clothes suitable for the weather along with water, a snack and a spare inner tube in case of a puncture.
