Bay Campus to Pub on the Pond

Starting at Bay Campus, we head west on NCN4. We then enter SA1, and cross the Tawe river using the Trafalgar bridge (over the barrage). We then take the sea-front path, before crossing the Mubmles Road and passing the entrance for Single Campus. The Pub on the Pond is the next turning on the right.

This is a gentle out and back trip to a Swansea student institution - the Pub on the Pond.

We will be using NCN4 and along the seafront, and is 100% cycle path. The route is suitable for all bikes, although a road bike might struggle slightly for grip if any sand has blown onto the path. Bike hire is encouraged from the Santander cycle hire stand on Bay Campus. It is best to download the app and register beforehand to save time.

We will be stopping for lunch at the Pub on the Pond next to Singleton Campus. Outdoor seating and a full menu is available. It might be busy.

Swansea University requires the use of a helmet on all rides. Please bring an optional face-mask, sanitiser, and cash/card for refreshments.
