Beginners (Traffic Free) Wiggle around Stanmer Woods.

We will ride into up into the woods from the car park and get on the trail. We will then take our time and ride a loop of the park. This will take us through wood and meadows. We will stop to take fluids on board and to enjoy the views at various points. This is labelled as a beginners ride, but there is a steady incline at the start of the ride which is about 2 km long - so be prepared for a climb. At the end of the ride we will stop at the tea rooms in Stanmer village for refreshments.

We will leave the busyness behind and get on some of the superb trails in Stanmer Woods. Here we will weave through the woods and fields and take in the spectacular views of the Downs.

We will be riding on traffic free trails. We will be sharing the trails with other riders as well as walkers, dogs and children. Hybrid bikes, mountain bikes or cross bikes will be best suited.

We will stop for refreshments at the quaint Stanmer Tea Rooms.

Helmets are mandatory please. Bikes need to be in good working order. Please check your bike is trail worthy before coming to ride. (I am not a bike mechanic)
