Easy mountain bike ride of 10 miles starting at Blackstone Picnic Site in Bewdley and cycling a short distance on road to the disused railway line on Dowles Road and then cycling off-road on forest tracks following the cycle route 45 through the scenic Wyre Forest and up to the Visitors Centre where we can stop for refreshments before crossing Long Bank and heading through the woods over to Heightington road and descending back into Bewdley. Mostly off-road but with some busy road sections and crossings to be marshalled by Breeze leaders.
In the forest and woods we will follow gravel paths with some forest tracks having uneven surfaces, so knobbly tyres required and there will be a gradual ascent to the Visitors Centre and a long descent back into Bewdley town centre to be attempted at your own speed.
