From Border Ice Rink Carpark we will ride a loop that takes us as follows, behind the racecourse, and back round to the ice rink! And then we start again, and go out behind the racecourse and onto the Ednam road, at Ednam take the first right over Clifthill and out onto the Birgham road, back to Kelso, then we ride up the bypass PLEASE use the cycle lane, at sainsburys cross over and out onto the Yetholm Road, taking the left at Proctor Smiddy, follow this road to the Mindrum crossroads and take a right to Yetholm, through Yetholm to Morebattle, there will be a stop here for a wee refreshment, boost of energy, and toilets, then out on the Morebattle road towards Eckford, and to the mainroad, going right then left at we call the old Smokery junction, taking you over the Kalemouth bridge, follow this road back to Kelso, there will be a right at the end of the Kalemouth road, then through Roxburgh, at the Trows, please note this is a slightly busier road, take right back to Kelso, passing the showfield, left and up over the old bridge, up Roxburgh Street, at the roundabout take the right onto the Angraflat road and back to the Ice Rink, for Tea and Toast. Please note there will be markers on this route

a mix of quieter country road with a wee stretch on a slightly busier road, all will have signs for junctions

As this is a charity cycle and not a led ride, it is up to you how often you feel need to stop, we are providing refreshments at the midway around morebattle.

Helmets must be worn, you must carry spares and repair kits for your bike, we do recommend inner tube, we will have mechanics in vans to assist, on the day you will be given emergency numbers in case of a mechancial you need help with. If you are on an ebike please make sure fully charged.
