Blazing Blue - Riding to meet the post at Donington on Bain

This ride has a bit of everything, some hills, fast descents, long flattish stretches and lovely country roads. The route is just under 30 miles with a little over 1100ft of climbing. I estimate the speed to be around 12mph, but this will be adjusted so all the group enjoy the ride. There is a steady start as we take the easy route into the Wolds and to Donington on Bain. After the cafe break there is the challenge of climbing out of Donington, which can be demanding is very doable.
Helmets are not compulsory, but strongly advised, especially on the fast descents. Please bring a spare inner tube suitable for your bike and money for the cafe stop. Please ensure that you are at the start of the ride by 09:45 for the pre-ride checks and a prompt start at 10:00.
