Starting at - Join me to explore the roads leading,the long way round, to the Golf Club at a pleasant 7 - 9 mph. Quiet roads give you a chance to chat & gain confidence cycling with others all whilst the miles whizz by. The hills have been told that they are for looking at only and, as always, no one will be left behind. A visit to the Golf Club for refreshments will be made towards the end of the ride.Please arrive by 10am to allow time for a bike check & remember to bring money for refreshments, a drink, a spare innertube, tyre levers and pump. Your bike needs to be in a roadworthy condition and helmets are strongly recommended. Starting at - This is a 24 mile, undulating, route with 660 feet of inclines on mainly quiet roads, ideal for building confidence on your bike. From Market Rasen we go out through Linwood, Lissington & Legsby towards Sixhills before making a well timed turn so that we head to Tealby where there is a refreshment stop at The Vintage Tearooms just over 1/2 way round the route. From Tealby we ride home via Walesby & Middle Rasen; this involves a short stretch of farm track which is fine for road bikes. The pace will be 9 - 11 mph but no one will be left behind. It is suitable for those looking to increase their distance & those who fancy an amble round the local lanes. Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time to allow for a bike check & remember to bring money for refreshments, a drink, a spare inner tube, tyre levers and pump. Your bike needs to be in a roadworthy condition and helmets are strongly recommended. Let the ride leader know if you have any medical conditions they should be aware of. Starting at - This is an undulating route mainly on quiet roads (although there are a couple of short stretches on the A46) suitable for those looking for a bit more of a challenge. We will go hunting for The Dunn Deal (and a cuppa) via Claxby, North Kelsey & Caistor at 11 - 13 mph with no one left behind. After refreshing ourselves we will be returning to Market Rasen via Moortown, Osgodby & Middle Rasen.
