Boaty (aka the RRS Sir David Attenborough) arrives in Greenwich for a special appearance at the Ice Worlds festival. The majestic explorer will be stopping off in London before it embarks to lead the forefront of research in Antarctica and the Arctic for the next 25 years. We will ride to Greenwich via the Waterlink Way and the Thames path to reach the riverside and view the ship at close quarters. We will return along the Waterlink Way. The route is mostly on quiet roads and through parks, although there are a couple of busy junctions. We will have a coffee stop in Greenwich. Please call the leader, Jacqui Turner on 07456840924, if you have booked but there are problems on the day.
