This is a very hilly ride to get the cobwebs well and truly blown off. If you fancy a route to challenge you whilst cycling through stunning scenery (if you can look up )then this is for you. Come and join the HRS group where the emphasis is on social. We want you to push yourself out of your comfort zone but you do this at the pace advertised. If you are a competitive rider, looking for those KOM/QOM then this isn’t the group for you. We will have plenty of rest stops so ensure you are equipped with snacks and refreshments. If we pass a café that is open, then we will be stopping for the all important coffee, at least. Leaving Rivington, we head north to the neighbouring villages and towns on this circular route, finishing with a fab downhill.

English weather is often unpredictable so please dress appropriately. It’s better to take layers off, then have none to put on if its chilly or wet! We are not fair weather cyclists! As always, a helmet is essential along with a spare inner tube, pump, lock etc but don't worry too much if you don't have the latter. Any questions please feel free to message us at [email protected] or through this page by pressing the contact ride creator button.
