An open-ended ride approximately enough for Open House weekend.
We will ride up to the City of London to visit a few of the buildings participating in the Open House weekend. These are buildings that are either normally closed to the public or usually charge a fee to enter.
Our destination will be the City, and we will visit Dr Johnson's house. We might also have time to visit other venues, such asTemple Place, Temple church, Middle Temple hall, and Inner Temple gardens.
Timings are fluid as it depends how many venues we decide to visit.
Opportunities for coffee stops may be sparse so bring a snack and a drink to keep you going. We will be leaving the bikes unattended during the visits so bring a sturdy lock.
There is the option of returning by train if timing is tight/ride is too long/you get fed up. Otherwise we will return via the C4 and Waterlink way.
