Breeze Ricky to St Albans Cathedral for Carols

We'll be cycling there mostly on Route 61 cycle path for a speedier return we'll do a mixture of cycle paths and roads.

If you have a hybrid, mountain or gravel these would be your best choice for this ride. The route is passable on a road bike and we can detour around any lumpy bits. Alternatively I can give you an alternative route for your road bike. The return will be a mixture of road and cycle paths.

It is on cycle paths to avoid busy roads and keep safe.

We are going to ride to St Albans Cathedral to see Heather's choir sing Carols.

We'll be cycling there mostly on Route 61 cycle path which is why our meeting point is different. We have an earlier start than so we can't meet in the Aquadrome as we'll get muddled up with the runners! For a speedier return we'll do a mixture of cycle paths and roads.

We'll stop at St Albans Cathedral to attend the Carol Concert. We will stop on the way back for refreshments as St Albans will be very busy and it won't be easy to get a table for all of us.

Please ensure you wear a helmet and have a spare innertube, pump and tools to fix a puncture. Please also bring lights as it gets dark very early and it is better for safety on the roads. A good lock will be required too as we will need to leave our bikes unattended outside the Abbey. If you have more than one bring them as we will lock all our bikes to each other.
