We will leave our start point and head out to preston marina on the Guildwheel. we then double back on ourselves as far as the old cobbled bridge where we cross the river and join the cycleway to the old railway bridge then make our way through preston junction nature reserve. We then cycle through some quiet residential street to the new wetlands park and pick up the cycle way back to the railway bridge and this time make our way across the river to Avenham park. We will cycle along to view the new tram bridge before returning to the pavilion for coffee.

This will be a gentle ride with an average speed of 7mph
