A beautiful scenic ride starting from Otford village from where we head out to Twitton and on to Shoreham village with a vista of beautiful Kent countryside including oast houses. We will join the A225 for a short section so we can cycle down to the entrance of Castle farm, viewing the lavender as we cycle pass. This is about halfway on the route and we will stop for refreshments, photos and shopping!

We will leave the farm from the Lullingstone exit and undulate our way to Shoreham Village and retrace our route back to Otford.

The ride is about 9 miles in total but is quite undulating although with two Breeze leaders we can walk the hills as necessary and re-group as required. This is all on road riding though so you should be fairly confident with this aspect. Route details: https://ridewithgps.com/trips/200670541

A ride to Castle Farm Lavender in Shoreham, Kent

Mainly scenic country lanes with a few undulations. There will be a short section on the A225 but we are rewarded with a unique view of the lavender fields from our bikes.

We will stop at Castle Farm for refreshments which could include lavender ice-cream. There will also be time to look at the goodies in their farm shop.

Helmets are always recommended. £1 coin for car parking. A rucksack or panniers to treat yourself in the shop. Water bottle.

We never leave anyone behind
