Breeze to Tatsfield

This is a challenging but lovely circular ride on country lanes via Downe to Tatsfield.

On country lanes, some of which are quite busy, riding through Keston and Downe to the Shampan. From there we ride on towards Tatsfield and on up to Botley Hill. Riders should be confident riding on the road and able to keep up with an average speed of 9-11mph. The ride is classed as challenging due to busy main roads, some very busy junctions and challenging inclines Riders must be confident in traffic and especially at junctions.

We will stop for refreshments but it maybe towards the end of the ride, so please bring along a drink and some snacks for along the way. Also some money/card for the stop at the end.

Come dressed appropriately for the weather. Bring a drink and a snack. Please ensure that your bike is in good working order with the tyres pumped up, and bring a spare inner tube and a pump. A helmet is always recommended.

This ride is not suitable for first timers or beginners. You must be confident riding on the road.
