Breeze to the British Library

Please be aware this not a ride for inexperienced cyclists.
We will ride up to Kings Cross via the Waterlink way, Peckham and Walworth, crossing the river at Blackfriars bridge and riding up through the City on some segregated cycle paths but also some busy roads and the everlasting roadworks. We will stop at the British library if it is not too busy and have a coffee stop i the courtyard there.
From there it is a short ride into Camley street nature reserve which is our alternative stop. Please bring a good lock in case we have to leave the bikes unattended, although we will try to avoid it.
We will return via the C6 and C3 crossing the river at London bridge before picking up the C4 to Deptford and the waterlink way back to Cator Park.
You should be able to maintain a steady pace in order to keep to the timings posted in the information. Due to the distance and the potential for busy roads, you must be a relatively fit and confident cyclist in urban conditions, able to keep up with the pace. This is not a ride for beginners or riders with little experience on busy urban roads. Timings are approximate as it depends how much time we spend faffing around at the coffee stop.
