A lovely ride north of the river. Quite a long way so you'll need stamina and be expected to keep up with the group on the faster stretches of roads.
Mostly quiet streets or traffic free paths, but potential for some busy stretches on the return, so not a ride for riders nervous in traffic.
Some unpaved sections of compacted gravel so not suitable for skinny tyres.
There'll be a coffee stop.
We might need to take the DLR if the foot tunnel lifts are out of order (£.2.20).
The ride may be amended/curtailed/cancelled at short notice in the event of inclement weather.
