Breezing to The Chocolate Shop, approx 11-12 mph

A Saturday morning ride to The Chocolate Shop in Woolmer Green. The ride will be around 30 miles & we'll be aiming for an average speed of about 11-12mph, so it's best suited to experienced riders.

Starting from Marshalswick, we'll head through Kimpton, Knebworth & Datchworth before stopping at the cafe at The Chocolate Shop in Woolmer Green (which is after about 17 miles). We’ll then return to St Albans via Codicote & Wheathampstead. The route is mostly on quiet roads & lanes.

Meet at 9.30am in the garden outside the Marshalswick Community Centre at The Quadrant. There is a small public car park between the Community Centre and M&S with free parking, and plenty of residential street parking nearby. However, please don't park in the main Quadrant car park or the streets immediately outside the shops as parking there is restricted. There are public toilets next to the Community Centre.

Helmets are compulsory on this ride. Please bring water & snacks to drink & munch on route, money for the cafe stop & equipment to deal with any punctures. Please ensure your bike is in good working order and you have an emergency back up or taxi number to call in case of mechanical issues that we can't fix.
