Barnet Breeze Christmas Ride

A ride out on the back roads to Potters Bar with a stop for refreshments before returning to Barnet

Please note all the wording below has been copied from a previous year - I haven't got any prizes at the moment but you are very welcome to dress up your bike!!

Why not give yourself an early Christmas present before the festive season gets going - a social bike ride. This is a potter around Hertfordshire lanes to Potters bar

We will be riding on country lanes or cycle paths making a loop form Barnet via Potters Bar

We will be stopping at the Oakmere Cafe in Potters Bar where we will have time to stop for a coffee and snack and catch up on all things Christmas and cycling.

Riders should bring with them water and snacks for the journey, face masks and cards/money for the cafe stop. Please dress for the season, that means the weather and Christmas if you fancy it. Plenty of layers including gloves are recommended at this time of year and it is likely that the temperatures will be low. We recommend that you wear a helmet. Check your bike the night before to ensure that it is safe to ride and THERE WILL BE PRIZES for the most festive bike/rider on the ride so let your creative self go wild. If you or any member of your household are experiencing covid symptoms at the time of the ride we ask that you do not attend.
