BUCKSHAW TO CUERDEN CIRCULAR

Starting from - Car Park adjacent to Buckshaw Hub Cafe. Free parking, Food, Drinks and Toilets available.
Ride conducted by Ribble Valley Cycling Club, affiliated to British Cycling. Ride Leaders are British Cycling trained and have First Aid Certification.
Please arrive 15 minutes before the posted start time to allow a bike check and route brief.
You will need a roadworthy bike and an approved helmet and Drinks. Sunny forecast

We set off to climb off road up to the Nature Reserve where hopefully the forecast sunshine gives views to the coast. Back down onto Buckshaw’s award winning Cycleways we climb again up the North Buckshaw Landscape mounds and more views?
A road crossing takes us on an undulating route into Cuerden Valley Park. Following cycleways along the River Valley we have the option of two more hills to climb. one with a cafe atop and the possibility of Ice cream.
Return is on a similar route.

(0) ReviewsPlanned as a Novice ride, ( almost the first of the next month!) this location allows for easy routing with parallel more challenging routes to suit all.
All road traffic free. Probably dogs and pedestrians though.
There are two cafes on the route so plenty of options but we customarily stop as needed for whatever and especially for refreshment.
Helmets please on this Ribble Valley Juniors Novice ride. Dress appropriate for the weather.Ideally a spare inner tube to suit your wheel size. A smile and sunshine!
