Starting from our usual meeting point we head north to the beeches Then west over Dropmoor and Widmoor before descending Wash Hill into Woburn Town then using part of the old GWR (Bourne End - High Wycombe) line we go to Bourne End then cross the Thames on the railway bridge and go up the towpath to the pub. The return is via the towpath and across Cock Marsh to follow Strand Water past Cookham and then join the Green way into Maidenhead. A very short stretch of A4 to get us over the Thames before turning up to Taplow Stn then Back roads to our start point.

A nice gentle paced social ride suitable for all type of bikes and riders We go at the pace of the slowest rider so everybody feels inclusive

Using quiet lanes Bridlepaths as well as the Towpath With a short stretch of main road which at the time we use it should be fairly quiet.

Stopping at The Bounty (about one of the only pubs you can't drive to!) As well as any that are needed to "take in the views"

Please bring lights as well as a puncture repair kit/spare tube (others will help you) drinks and snacks for on the bike if needed and money to buy me a drink at the pub

First-timers welcome!
