From Monton we cycle to Drinkwater Park, onwards along the Outwood Trail to Radcliffe and follow the Manchester Bury & Bolton canal into Bury. The return route takes us along Bradley Fold cycleway towards Bolton where we pick up NCR55 back to Monton.

The majority of the route follows traffic free trails and dedicated cycle lanes linked by some road riding

We stop off for refreshments at the Lampost Cafe in Burrs Country Park

Please wear a helmet, bring a drink and a spare inner tube
