Starting point

Swansea
SA2 8PR

Starting by the Santander Bikes stand on Swansea University's Singleton Campus, we take the seafront cycle path to cross the river Tawe at the Trafalgar Swing Bridge. We then ride alongside the Tawe waterfront to cross back over the Sail Bridge to arrive at the Environment Centre Café on Pier Street for Fairtrade refreshments. The ride then returns to Singleton, passing the new arena and the Civic Offices before rejoining the seafront path.

The whole route is on traffic-free cycle paths and is almost entirely flat, so well suited to beginner (or returning) cyclists and we never leave anyone behind!

This is an accessible ride, so if you need to borrow any sort of adapted bike, wheelchair bike, handbike etc message us in advance and our friends at Bikeability Cymru can bring one along.

All you need is a roadworthy bike (check brakes and tyres before setting off) and a helmet. Because the route starts and ends at a Santander Bike dock, you could always hire a bike for the trip. Don't forget some money for Fairtrade coffee and cake!
