Starting from - The start is at the entrance to the Grantham canal from Cropwell Bishop carpark ( height limit here)/ village hall cark park next door. Please note no toilets at the start; suggest you stop at a services on the way.
Please wear a helmet- no headgear no ride. A spare inner tube needed just incase. Water bottle, too.
Please make sure your bike is ride worthy. M check to pass at the start.

This is a lovely ride on canal pathways taking in the scenery along the Grantham canal to Hickling basin. We can stop for a coffee and chat at the cafe by the water. The ride then continues along a further stretch of canal, exiting at the Hose bridge, to then take a few miles along quiet lanes and roads back to an entrance to the canal again at Colston Bassett.
This is a predominantly flat ride with a few short rises. It is suited for wanting a casual paced ride out for exercise and company. It is not a club speed road ride.
