Initially quiet roads and traffic free trails as far as possible depending on weather and light, then as confidence builds, more roads and distance for enjoyable groups rides.
Evening rides will not generally have a café stop but daytime rides it is an essential part !
Helmets please, lights and a suitable inner tube and bike pump for your bike. Please wear suitable clothing for the weather, just for comfort and make sure the bike has working brakes and rides smoothly. Mechanical problems cannot be repaired by the ride leader. A bike check if free at local Halfords branches usually...
