Join Carol and Lesley for this steady ride starting from outside Lucianos / Subway at Middlebrook Retail Park. We head off along the Middlebrook trail then into Westhoughton to make our way along the main road to Cutacre Country Park. Riding through the country park we then start our return via Great Lever, Bolton town centre and onto Queens Park. We then head back to rejoin the Middlebrook Trail taking us back to our start point.

The 21-mile route is a mixture of trails, cycle paths and roads both minor and major. Total elevation 837 ft and average speed 8-10 mph.

We will have a café stop but you are welcome to bring your own drink and snacks if you prefer.

Helmets are needed to participate in this ride. Please make sure your bike is in roadworthy condition and carry a spare inner tube for your bike with you. If you are not already a member of Horwich Ride Social please email [email protected] before the ride for a new participant members form, it is free to join.
