Cycle Heaven to Appleton Roebuck loop

This is a steady 18 mile route to get us back in the saddle after Christmas. We'll aim to ride at around 10mph. We will go over Millennium Bridge, into the racecourse then pick up the solar system. We'll come off at Bishopthorpe and head through Acaster towards Appleton Roebuck. We'll do the return loop back to York and hope you'll join me for well earned refreshments back at Cycle Heaven.

This ride is weather-permitting so please look out for updates the day before/morning of the ride in case we need to cancel due to adverse weather conditions.

An 18 mile route from Cycle Heaven out through Acaster to Appleton Roebuck.

We'll be riding on the Solar System and mostly quiet roads.

PLEASE NOTE THE COFFEE STOP WILL BE AT THE END OF THIS RIDE, AT CYCLE HEAVEN but we will stop for breaks/drinks on the ride as necessary.

Please wear a helmet and bring a spare inner tube and pump. Lights and hi-vis clothing is a good idea at this time of year.
