About the route
A 25 mile ride with a distinctly watery theme, following as it does the River Clyde, Forth and Clyde Canal and the River Kelvin. Mostly on traffic-free paths and taking full advantage of the excellent National Cycle Network Route 7, the ride takes you past many points of interest, including the Tall Ship 'Glenlee', the Clydebank Play Drome, the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum and the Transport Museum. The ride uses mostly tarmac paths with other surfaces occasionally but is mostly flat.
Free bike hire on request. Meet at Emirates at 0930hrs and leave at 1000hrs.
