Easy Breezy Great Lumley Loop

This easy Breezy is a little longer than normal but it is a great way to keep the legs moving throughout the winter season. The route is all on quiet roads or tarmac cycle paths.

We will wind our way through Belmont and Carville estates and cycle alongside the A690 to West Rainton. Here we will do a circular loop, stop at The Farmhouse Kitchen for refreshments and return back.

We do strongly advise that you wrap up warmly, layers are better than one thick top. The weather can be very changeable at this time of year, so waterproofs at the ready are also advisable. On all our rides we do strongly recommend you wear a helmet and you carry with you 2 spare inner tubes that fit your bike.

Please note, that the Farmhouse kitchen has asked as to pre-order food. I will need this no later than the morning of Tuesday 2nd December. I will uplift a photo of the breakfast choice together with scones on our Facebook page. We will be there too early for the lunchtime menu. Can you please indicate your choice in the Facebook post comments.

Please remember, if you are unable to join the ride, to cancel through this porthole and also message the ride leader. In the event we deemed it unsafe to cycle we will let you know no later than 9am on the day.
