Starting point

London
NW10 3SH

This is a feeder ride to join the traffic-free 8-mile circuit of RideLondon FreeCycle. FreeCycle is an annual event in which roads of Central London are closed to motor traffic for one day – find out more on www.ridelondon.co.uk/our-rides/ridelondon-freecycle. We will also meet in the afternoon to return to Roundwood Park. If you’re a confident rider and know your way to Central London, please don’t sign up – leave this ride to those less confident or with children who need the support of a group to ride safely.

We will cycle through North Kensington and Bayswater on our way in, and Paddington and Maida Vale on our way back.

Once we arrive at FreeCycle, joining at Lower Regent Street, everyone is free to do their own thing – go for laps, visit the Festival zones, or just chill out.

Those who would like to come back to Brent as a group again must be ready to leave from the same joining point at Lower Regent Street at 15.30.

If you find this ride fully booked, sign up to the waiting list as spaces always become available near the date.

IMPORTANT POINTS: *Only those who booked themselves on the ride will be allowed to join. You must add additional riders if bringing anyone with you, including children. *Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. *Helmets aren't compulsory but advisable. *Make sure that your tyres are pumped and you have a spare inner tube and all necessary tools in case of a puncture. *Places are limited and sometimes get booked up, normally with a waiting list. If you get Covid-19 or can't make it for any other reason, please cancel your space so someone else can join. *Unless the weather takes a nasty turn making it unsafe or unpleasant to cycle, this ride will go ahead even if it rains. Dress for the weather and bring a rain coat just in case.
