This a road route and has gradual and long slopes with a few climbs thrown in. Its therefore far more suitable to road bikes and light hybrids. The route will be tough with a MTB or hybrid with heavy suspension, dependant on your cycling fitness and experience.

We head up along the A56 passing Ramsbottom to Edenfield and Rawtenstall then along to Waterfoot and take a left towards Crowne Point. Once we see the Ringing Singing Tree views we will head back on ourselves towards Weir then right back towards Waterfoot and Rawtenstall where we then head towards Haslingden and then back to Edenfield and down back to the cafe start point.

This is a medium challenge route with some long slopes. Its a good route early in the morning with spectaular views at the top!

This is on main roads which will be quieter at that time of the morning- expect traffic to busy up as we progress.

We have options at Annas Cafe in Weir or the Drop Off Cafe in Edenfield. We start at the Halfway House so a before we start coffee can also be available!

Bring an inner tube, pump and some cash for a cafe stop.

We never leave anyone behind
