Flat Breeze ride from St Mellons to Tredegar House and back

This is a flat ride to the lovely Tredegar House, on the outskirts of Newport. We will cycle a short stretch to Marshfield on quiet roads, where we will continue on route 88 cycle path passing picturesque marshlands on the way. It is tarmac for most of the way, with only a short stretch of grit/gravel, but is suitable for all bikes.

After a coffee/cake stop at Tredegar House teashop, we will return to St Mellons.

Please bring some money for refreshments, or your own as preferred. It is recommended to wear a helmet, also bring a bike lock and a spare inner tube if you have one. It can be breezy even on a fine day, so you may wish to bring an extra layer.

We'll leave at 10.00, so please arrive 5-10 minutes early so we can do bike checks :)
