A lovely meander through country lanes and canal paths to a fab tearoom.

This route is best suited to the ladies progressing from the easygoing to a gentle, steady ride. It leaves Rivington along the quiet lanes with a couple of small inclines before descending onto the canal towpath. We will follow this a short distance until Chorley town centre. There are a couple of minor roads to cycle along and two major roads to cross. We can always dismount for these if need be.

A lovely tearoom is planned for our stop on this ride. Please ensure you have a bike lock as the bikes will not be in viewing distance when we are in the tearomm.

You eill need a helmet to join this ride. Please be self sufficient and arm yourself with spare inner tubes, bike levers and pump. Please ensure you bring along a drink for the ride. Also, check your brakes and gears are in good working order at least the night before.

Don't say no until you've had a go!
