From the Angel to the Tyne

From the Angel we head down to the river on the Teams cycleway. Along the river to cross Scotswood bridge then along the North side to cross back over the Millennium bridge. Once back on the South we head east to join the Gateshead cycleway which brings us up through Wrekenton and back to the Angel.
This is mainly a steady ride on cycle tracks but it is a steady climb from the river up to Wrekenton.
There will be a refreshment stop approx half way but please bring snacks and a drink.
Helmets advised and please make sure bikes are in good working order.
Wear appropriate clothing for the weather. If we decide to postpone the ride a message will be sent out by 9am.
