Grand Day Out - Canons Park Picnic From Harrow Rec

25 May is the London Festival of Cycling! Join us for a family bike ride and ‘pannier picnic’ in beautiful Canons Park. We’ll take quiet roads and parks wherever possible to get there and aim to arrive by 12 noon. Friends and family are very welcome to join us there. Bring a picnic or buy something at the café. Come and celebrate with other cyclists from across Harrow and beyond. Children over 8 welcome on the ride - a supervising adult must ride with them. We'll spend a couple of hours at the picnic, before returning around 2pm.

This 8 mile ride will be completed at a leisurely pace and has no particularly challenging hills, We will mostly travel on quiet roads and will visit a number of parks along the way. The return journey will be more direct and you a welcome to make your own way home, if you prefer. The distance given is for the ride to Canons Park. If you wish to join the group ride back to Harrow Rec, it will add approximately 4 miles.

Before you come, please pump up your tyres and check that the brakes work, and the wheels turn freely. Bring water, a bike lock and something to sit on.
