Come and join us on a loop around Great Sankey and along the Trans Pennine Trail on this flat 12 mile route.

We start at Sankey Valley car park, just off Cromwell Avenue, heading along Sankey Canal before following cycle paths beside Callands, Westbrook and Chapelford. Next, we take the Whittle Brook Greenway towards Lingley Mere followed by some quiet roads to stop halfway at the Hayloft tea room for cake and a warm drink.

After refuelling we pass through Penketh on our way down to the River Mersey and loop around the boats in the harbour before joining the Trans Pennine Trail which takes us back towards Warrington beside the St Helens Canal. We make a short loop around Saxon Park before we return to the Sankey Valley car park.
