Greenwich Christmas Shopping Ride from Clapham

This is a lovely route through quieter roads in Brockwell Park and Dulwich and Peckham Rye, coming in through the back of Deptford into Historic Greenwich. When we are there, we can lock up the bikes and explore the lovely market and food stalls. There are some lovely stalls including some great vegi and vegan choices. It is quieter on a Friday and still has lots of great stalls and unique ideas for Christmas Presents. There is also the spooky but must try once, Greenwich foot tunnel, which will give you the opportunity to walk under the Thames, dodging the drips from the roof if you dare. Or we could admire the views and pop up the hill to the observatory. The Thames Barrier is a riverside ride away too, so there are lots of options. We will stop for an an hour and a half to two hours, and leave Greenwich at 1pm latest to return to Clapham by 2:30 latest, in time for school run.We can return along the river to Tower Bridge, with some spectacular views and then on the quieter roads back to Clapham. We will meet up with another Breeze ride (or more than one) while there. This is a repeat of a ride that Yvonne from Bromely and Debs from Croyden did last year which was hugely successful, so I hope to add to the fun.
