Guild Wheel Preston

A 21 mile Greenway cycle route encircling the City of Preston, providing a link from the city to the countryside .
The route connects various landscapes including the River Ribble,historic docklands and Brockholes Nature Reserve.
Its a testament to Preston that this cycle route which opened in 2012 has been well maintained and goes from strength to strength.
Mainly flat on mostly tarmac cycle paths with some short inclines.
Our main stop is at Costa in Frenchwood which is approx 2/3 of the way round so please bring your own snacks and money for the café.We will have the opportunity for toilet stops enroute.
No helmet no ride. Please bring a spare innertube and pump and have a back up plan in case of mechanical breakdown.
