A gentle ride to the café in Oxey Activity Park.
This route starts at the Seva Café in Harrow Recreation Grounds and goes past Hatch End by Headstone Manor Park then Carpenter's Park to get to the NCN 6 (61) which takes you to the café.
The return is via Watford Heath, Hatch End and again Headstone Manor Park. With only 110m of ascent it is reasonably flat but with the busy and undulating A4008 (Oxey Lane) on the return.
Duration 160 minutes including a break.
New comers especially welcome.
Check your bike before the ride. Bring a spare innertube (check it's the correct size), a pump and tools to replace an inner tube.
The time for the ride is a best estimate by the Ride Leader. Sometimes this can be affected by factors such as the weather, mechanical issues, etc. We have a policy of leaving no rider behind so, if anyone is struggling, we will adjust the speed and take rest stops if necessary.
