London
HA1 1XE

This route uses mostly quiet roads and paths to visit the Battle of Britain Bunker, a museum at the former RAF station in Uxbridge. Although we won't enter the exhibition, we will take refreshments at the cafe. There are a couple of stretches of road with heavier traffic.

The outward leg takes us through Pinner, Eastcote, Ruislip and Ickenham. Our return is via Swakeleys, Ruislip and North and West Harrow. We'll travel at a moderate pace. There aren't any very challenging hills. Inclines can be taken at your own pace and we always wait to regroup after any climbs.

Bring a spare innertube, a pump and tools to fix a puncture. Check your bike before the ride and dress for the weather conditions.

The time for the ride is a best estimate by the Ride Leader. Sometimes this can be affected by factors such as the weather, mechanical issues, the queue at the cafe, etc. We have a policy of leaving no rider behind so, if anyone is struggling, we will adjust the speed and take rest stops if necessary.
