Hatch End to the Lazy Llama Cafe, Chiswell Green

This ride takes us north through Carpenders Park to Watford where we pick up the Abbey Way cycle route. We pass through Meriden and Bricket Wood before reaching the Lazy Llama Cafe in Chiswell Green. After refreshments we'll return via the same route.

The majority of the ride is on quiet residential roads and cycle paths. Although there are a couple of hills, none of the climbing is too challenging.

Check your bike before the ride. Bring a spare innertube and tools to fix a puncture.

Note that the Lazy Llama only has outdoor seating. If the weather is inclement we may take a detour to an alternative venue.

The time for the ride is a best estimate by the Ride Leader. Sometimes this can be affected by factors such as the weather, mechanical issues, the queue at the cafe, etc. We have a policy of leaving no rider behind so, if anyone is struggling, we will adjust the speed and take rest stops if necessary.
