Our route takes us north to Carpenders Park from where we'll take quiet roads and the Colne Valley Cycle Route to the not-for-profit Random Cafe. The cafe rescues food destined for landfill and sells it on a pay-what-you-feel basis. https://randomcafewatford.com/

The return route is Bushey Mill Lane and Oxhey Village. We cycle along Oxhey Lane. It involves riding in traffic and some climbing.

Please ensure that you bring a spare innertube, pump and tools to fix a puncture. Check your bike before the ride paying particular attention to the tyres and brakes.

The time for the ride is a best estimate by the Ride Leader. Sometimes this can be affected by factors such as the weather, mechanical issues, the queue at the cafe, etc. We have a policy of leaving no rider behind so, if anyone is struggling, we will adjust the speed and take rest stops if necessary.
