Hemel Hempstead Mellow Yellows

Meeting on the far side of the Argos car park near the recycling bins/car wash, this novice ride will take us along the Alban way to Hatfield House. All routes will have a fab coffee/cake stop for a good old breeze gossip before returning home. Come and join this friendly but dedicated group of ladies for a sociable fun Friday morning ride. We may move the start point each month to enable us to try new routes and new cafe stops. Mellow Yellows will be a novice ride average 10 -15 miles at a gentle pace of 7-8mph Graceful Greens rides will average between 15 -20 miles at a gentle pace of 8-10mph with a few hills and flat stretches. Blazing Blues rides will average between 20-30 miles at steady pace between 9-11mph Pacey Purples weekday rides will average 15 miles or 30+ miles at weekends at a faster pace of 10-12mph We ride at the pace of the slowest rider and always wait at the top of hills so no one gets left behind. We usually stop for coffee halfway or at the end depending on the route, so come and join us for a monthly get together. Please remember to check your bike is in good working order, gears and brakes all working, and tyres pumped up. Don't forget to bring a spare inner tube and tools to fix a puncture should you be unlucky enough to get one. Don't worry there's enough of us to help you out should you be the unfortunate one. My rides are weather dependent, if I feel it's raining too hard, too cold/miserable/icy/snowy/windy etc then I will cancel, for your safety as well as enjoyment of the ride.
