Starting point

London
HA1 1XE

Our route takes us over rolling hills through Pinner, Carpenders Park, Oxhey Village and Bushey. After refreshments at the cafe in King George Rec we face our most challenging climb up to Bushey Heath. From there we have a fairly flat stretch passing the highest point in Harrow to Stanmore Common. If the skies are clear we'll get to appreciate arguably the best view of London from anywhere in Harrow.

With most of the climbing behind us, we'll descend Brockley Hill and take some back roads to see a small enclave of Art Deco houses close to Stanmore station. From there it's quiet roads through Belmont and Wealdstone back to our starting point.

Note that this ride has challenging hills and stretches of road with significant amounts of traffic.

Please check your bike before the ride paying particular attention to the brakes and tyres. Bring a spare innertube, pump and tools to fix a puncture.
