Lower Noke Close Off Chequers Road Harold Hill Havering

The new Sustrans route 136 along the Ingrebourne Valley in Havering is being formally opened on May 22nd at the new bridge in Hornchurch Country Park at 12:00. Two led rides will be leaving at 10:30 from each end to join the formal opening at 12:00. Afterwards you can do the return ride, continue to the other end, or just relax on what hopefully will be a great day. This is the north ride starting from Lower Noke Close at 10:30 on 22 May Ride can be ridden by any form of bike but off road tyres, not necessarily MTB tyres would be best. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. There is little car parking at the start of the ride. It is best to park in Central Park at Petersfield Avenue, Harold Hill, RM3 9PB. It is then a short ride up hill to the start. The nearest Station is Harold Wood station. Exit the Station and head north up Gubbins Lane. Cross the A12 and turn right heading west. After a short distance you will meet the route heading down a slope to a green. Follow the route north to the start.
