This ride is of varied terrain and there are lots of changes, twists and turns which we will tackle together. The cafe/pitstop is planned for media city which is roughly halfway along the ride so you may want to bring a snack/drinks to support you until then.
The route is mostly traffic free, using cycle paths, river side lanes and segregated cycle lanes all the way into Manchester. In Manchester we will be visiting the Emmeline Pankhurst statue and hearing this remarkable woman's story. The route out of the city centre is via Castle field and the canal towpath - Bridgewater way. We return home via Eccles and Monton and the Roe Green Loopline

Be sure to read the route discription carefully and be certain you have the stamina to complete this ride. Helmets must be worn as on all HRS rides.
